• How to connect with the body’s self-calming system.
• How to shift attention when caught up in unhelpful thoughts and emotions.
• How to identify and ease the voice of the inner critic and stop being held back by limiting beliefs
If you’ve never been on a meditation retreat before, this is an ideal place to start. There will be meditation instruction for both beginners and advanced practitioners, plenty of free time.
Resetting the Compass
This retreat is not just about mindfulness meditation, it is about connecting with nature and be in a surrounding that supports inner reflection where you can look deeper within without being distracted by the chatter and demands of the ordinary day to day life. The retreat is an opportunity to revisit your values, purpose and innermost drives and maybe reset the inner compass.
Recharging the batteries
The world is getting noisier every day, there are so much anxiety and worry out there that it is almost impossible to not be affected by it. By taking ourselves out of the situation, even if just briefly, we can get a perspective and a bit of distance to whatever is going on. By being true to our deep need for rejuvenation and spend some time with the “real me” we can recharge the batteries and have new inspiration. It is when we are in contact with our inner centre and calm that we can be of true help to others; colleagues, family and friends, by just being… ourselves.
Mindfulness is a way of living life more consciously
What’s possible with regular mindfulness practice is self-regulation, giving up unhappiness and living a life of purpose as well as experiencing a more vibrant connection to life itself. Even if you are not fully convinced, you will have a relaxing time and learn how to connect with the deeper reality beneath the busy mind.
As the benefits from daily mindfulness training are becoming more widely recognised, there is a growing demand for courses and retreats that can teach these techniques in an easy to understand and practical way to help anyone to quickly experience results even if they never done any meditation or mindfulness exercises before.
